Big Rally. Music Family. Dallas Recording Studio.
Here at Drive 35 Studios, we’re one big family. We’ve got jokes, high-fives, hugs, and we eat way too many tacos. Each new day there is an another adventure. Whether we’re tracking an up-and-coming artist, making new music for a client or friend, or out to lunch at Pollo Salsa, we’re always singing, dancing, and doing life with the people we love. Life for us is making a daily choice to be joyful and rally around music. Something we love to do is celebrate local artist. We’ve launched a site called Synchoney (catchy right?) which celebrates tons of artists around the area. (Click to check out our blog about The Wild Now from Austin, TX). We’ve also hosted a “Tacos and Tunes.” We think it’s a really awesome day when local artists comes in to share their talent and tunes. Sometimes I’m not sure if people know they can just come in and record, but they totally can. Anyone who loves music and has songs to share, or albums they love to sing, they can seriously just come on in and track ‘em. Our studio has three tracking rooms, with comfy couches and slick electronics. We’ve got instruments, like Taylor guitars, perfect pitch pianos, and all the mics. Of course, you are more than welcome to bring your own instruments, too. Especially if you have a unique one. But don’t hesitate to ask what we have available. All our employees (family, hello!?) here are musicians and have so many unique instruments they could bring in for you. For example, a dulcimer or a charango. If you haven’t heard of those I’m sure you’ve heard of a Flamenco Guitar, right? What about a banjolele. No? How about a ukulele? Sounds fun right. We really do have a blast here at Drive 35. Come and have fun, and be a part of our inside jokes.
